Return of the Princes Circus fountain
We are excited to share with you that we have now reinstalled the fully conserved and original Grade II listed Princes Circus fountain – the final part of the West End Project. The fountain now sits back as a key focal point in the beautiful public space.
The fountain was originally installed in 1879 to commemorate Queen Victoria’s 60th year on the throne, before being moved in 2003 as part of a previous development. After being lovingly restored by specialist stonemasons, the fountain now stands back proudly in the new public space.
