Save water

The Temporary Use Ban (formerly hosepipe ban) now includes parks and gardens open to the public. As a result plants and trees will only be watered using watering cans.

We will be arranging some community watering activities soon! Email Anisha.Mistry@camden,gov.uk if you are interested, or like us on Facebook to be kept updated about the schemes.

For more information about how to save water visit Green Camden, or contact us for a free water pack!

Over 1,500 home energy visits successfully completed

During this last winter, over 1,500 households in Kentish Town and Cantelowes wards benefited from a free home energy visit. Residents were provided with energy efficiency advice and a range of small measures to help reduce bills, cut carbon and keep their homes warmer.

Although this programme has come to an end, there are still many ways we can help you reduce your energy consumption, visit our saving energy web pages to learn more.

Recycle your television

As the London area switches over to digital TV, Camden residents can recycle all unwanted electrical goods right from their doorstep.
